oh people know how to hide
they smile in your face
wanting to take your place
stabbing in the back
maybe we have what they lack
sometimes it is love
sometimes it is fate
just don't turn your back
some love without shame
and nothing to gain
so true we can get clean but, still our past is remembered by man
